Performance Highlights

* Winners Bitch – VCSC Specialty Show *

"Harley" is from the Easy Riders Litter and represents all I hoped to achieve from the combination of her Sire and Dam (see below for details). Knowing that baby Harley was going to live with her Uncle Leo, from our 2012 Jack x Csilla Litter, made sending her home with the Scott Family even sweeter!

Jen, Leo and Baby Harley

Harley is a gorgeous bitch with a big side gait, lovely front assembly and elegant lines and expressive head -- and she has perfect catlike feet! She dabbled in the show ring sparingly, but life gets in the way, and while she is Show pointed -- her true passion is the field! Owner, Brian was disappointed to lose his favorite pheasant hunting spot but we hope to get Harley back into the field after motherhood.

Harley and her passion - birds! 🐦

Harley herself is the inspiration for the Sugar and Spice litter, as she has her spicy and her sweet side!

Harley comes from a very accomplished litter with two sisters who have been very competitive in the show ring - Champion and Silver Grand Champion, and a brother who is Major Pointed and holds Obedience titles.

Harley's sister "Arielle" GCHS CH Moonlight's Easy to Keep, JH CGC TKN has surpassed our expectations in terms of breed type and temperament. She is a Group Winner, Multiple Group Placer and was the #13 Vizsla in 2017 and is in the Top 25 Vizslas in 2018 (owner/breeder handled) as of September 1.  She was ranked in the Top 10 NOHS in 2017 and 2018.

Her Sire “Baci” (MBISS GCHG CH Jen’s Penny Matra Baci’s Boogie Fever, ROM) is a handsome and moderately sized, yet robust Vizsla who is recognized by his far reaching side gait and clean movement. A true testament to his conformational qualities, Baci was a Top Five Vizsla (All Systems) in 2011. He’s since gone onto earn a prestigious Gold Grand Championship, amassing almost 500 Breed Points. During his show career, he was awarded Multiple Best in Specialty Show Wins (Lone Cypress Specialty in Carmel and Woofstock/Vizsla Club of Northern CA in Vallejo) as well as being a Multiple Sporting Group Winner, and he also won Best of Breed at Eukanuba in 2011, defeating nearly 50 other Vizslas. In July 2015, he returned to Lone Cypress and won Best Veteran in Sweepstakes and went onto win another BISS and Best of Breed at the Supported Entry the following day – not too shabby, Baci!

Bred sparingly, he has consistently produced nice front assemblies/shoulders and offspring with good substance and bone. He has Multiple Champions and Grand Champions to his credit, including Ranked Specials, Group Winners and Multiple Best in Specialty Show Winners.

Personality-wise, Baci has an infectious energy and is a sweetheart around the house. You’d never know he was seven years old — as he still greets visitors with a bouncy and puppy-like enthusiasm.

Her Dam “Lyra” (lie-rah) (GCH CH Moonlight ‘n Tamaron When Stars Align, CGC TKN) keeps me entertained everyday and she is one of the most charismatic and lovable Vizslas I’ve ever met.  She was a very fun girl to show once she matured, and she finished her Championship title in short order with FOUR Majors, including a Specialty Win from the Bred By Class in only a handful of shows. Along the way she was awarded a Grand Sweepstakes Winner, Best of Opposite in Sweepstakes and earned multiple Bred By Exhibitor Group Placements (five in total). As a finished Champion, she went onto complete her Grand Championship title with FIVE Majors in only three weekends.  With minimal bird exposure she picked up a Junior Hunter Pass and I have plans to finish her title after motherhood. She easily completed her Canine Good Citizen award — but I think given her drive, energy level and working ability, she will be my first Agility dog and I can’t wait to see what kind of fun we’ll have together.
